Happy Father’s day!
A very happy Father’s day to all our lovely Chestnut Daddies, we have been talking about what our Daddies do for us and how much we love them! We hope you enjoy our singing and dancing!
World cultural diversity day!
We have had the most brilliant week celebrating world cultural diversity day! We have tried lots of new foods with great success having sweet and sour noodles, poppadum’s, chutneys, prawn crackers, pizza and kabanos! We have really loved listening to music, learning flags and listening to languages from other cultures, it has been a brilliant learning experiences for everyone!

Christmas Photos
The children in Chestnuts have had a very busy few weeks doing lots of Christmas learning, we have explored how to wrap presents, writing letters to Father Christmas and lots of festive play! The creativity in the classroom has been bubbling over with snow playdough, making sleighs in the garden and decorating the trees.

In the last few weeks Chestnuts have been working really hard to learn all of the words and actions to some Christmas songs for their parents and carers to see. We are very proud of all of them and we’re sure you will be too.

Welly Walk
Our Chestnuts have done brilliantly with their Welly Walk challenge, raising lots of funds for Evesham Nursery School. The walks took place over a week at the start of November on the big field next to the Nursery. As well as taking lots of steps, there were plenty of interesting autumnal sights to spot along the way! Well done Chestnuts!
Bonfire Activities
To celebrate Bonfire night, our Chestnuts took part in lots of fun activities, including painting pictures of fireworks, watching sparklers and even sitting around our own mini bonfire! Afterwards, all the children tucked into jacket potatoes, popcorn and marshmallows!
